Summary

Be Part Of A High-Performing Team:

Join a collaborative technology architecture group supporting modern application delivery across multiple Agile development teams. This team works closely with software engineering, product, enterprise architecture, and business stakeholders to design practical solutions, guide technical decisions, and help development teams move from concept to working implementation. The environment is hands-on, Microsoft-oriented, and focused on building scalable applications, improving delivery quality, and exploring practical ways to use emerging technology.

What's In Store For You:

This role is ideal for a high-performing senior developer or technical lead who is ready to move deeper into solution architecture while staying close to hands-on delivery. The position sits onsite 4 days per week in South Park, Charlotte, NC, with local candidates preferred. The role offers exposure to application architecture, cloud-based delivery, vendor integrations, low-code platforms, AI-enabled development practices, and cross-team technical leadership.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Design end-to-end software solutions that help Agile delivery teams move from business need to working technical implementation.
  • Create practical architecture direction, solution frameworks, and technical guardrails that developers can build from.
  • Partner closely with development teams to evaluate options, explain tradeoffs, and guide technical decision-making.
  • Review code, mentor developers, and help teams improve quality, maintainability, and alignment with architecture standards.
  • Support architecture across Microsoft-based application environments, including web applications, APIs, SQL databases, cloud services, and integration-heavy solutions.
  • Help evaluate vendor platforms, internal tools, data integrations, and packaged technologies to determine the best-fit solution approach.
  • Use AI-enabled development tools responsibly to improve code quality, refactoring, delivery speed, and technical problem solving.
  • Look ahead across a 6-12 month delivery horizon to help teams anticipate risks, dependencies, modernization needs, and evolving business priorities.

Are you a proven full-stack technical leader ready to grow into solution architecture?
  • 5+ years of software development, solution design, technical leadership, or architecture-adjacent experience.
  • Strong full-stack application development background, ideally with middle-tier and back-end depth.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, SQL, Git, APIs, and modern web application delivery.
  • Strong SQL capability and comfort working with data-driven applications or integrations.
  • Experience with Azure or comparable cloud platforms, including practical understanding of cloud services, VMs, storage, networking, and security considerations.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and partnering closely with developers, product owners, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to review code, explain technical improvements, and mentor developers without needing direct management authority.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, distributed systems, and software design tradeoffs.
  • Ability to compare multiple technical options and clearly explain which path is best and why.
  • Exposure to Microsoft-based environments such as Blazor, APIs, SQL Server, Power Platform, or ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools and the ability to use them thoughtfully in code review, refactoring, or solution improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
