Summary

We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to support commercial construction projects by developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules. This role works closely with Project Managers and field leadership to ensure project milestones, manpower, and resources are aligned to meet aggressive delivery timelines.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term career growth, exposure to large-scale construction environments, and the chance to work on high-visibility projects.

Position Overview

The Scheduler will partner with Project Management and field teams to plan, track, and manage construction schedules from project kickoff through completion. This role plays a critical part in identifying risks, maintaining schedule integrity, and supporting accurate project reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to align schedules with construction activities
  • Manage workload distribution and resource planning across multiple project phases
  • Track installation progress and customer delivery milestones
  • Identify schedule conflicts, delays, or risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies
  • Maintain project calendars from implementation through completion
  • Provide schedule data and insights to support weekly and monthly project reports
  • Interpret construction documents including drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Support continuous process improvement related to scheduling and project controls
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using Primavera P6
  • Proven scheduling experience within commercial construction environments
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
  • Experience building and maintaining project schedules from early planning through closeout
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both engineering and field teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to lead coordination efforts when needed

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience supporting large, complex, or multi-phase construction projects
  • Familiarity with resource loading and earned value concepts
  • Experience working in fast-paced, client-driven environments

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
  • Onsite
  • Project-based environment with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Occasional overtime may be needed based on project demands

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
