Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Java, SQL, and Oracle and a proven ability to deliver risk analytics features, optimize data pipelines, and resolve production issues.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements from Global Credit, Market, and Funding Risk teams and implement functionality per specifications.
- Develop programs using Quartz Python and SQL to extract, transform, and load counterparty and reference data.
- Execute unit and regression testing, manage Jira test cases, and document test outcomes for CPM applications.
- Support daily BAU activities for Counterparty Portfolio Management, including PnL analysis, debugging, and bug fixing.
- Perform What-If analysis aligned with business requirements.
- Monitor and optimize application and database performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java, and advanced SQL.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
- Strong code debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
- Collaboration mindset and ability to operate as a team player.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Quartz Python in risk or finance environments.
- Background in risk analytics, PnL analysis, or CPM applications.
