Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Agile Project Manager to support the Agile Project Management team in delivering high-quality software development projects using hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of agile principles, practices, and frameworks, and will work closely with business teams, product owners, and technical teams to support the development and implementation of new applications, software, and systems.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies
· Collaborate with Agile Project Managers and Product Management stakeholders, providing guidance on Agile principles and practices
· Establish and maintain project management best practices including scope, resource, risk, and change management
· Create project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure delivery within these constraints
· Identify and resolve project risks and issues that may impact timeline or budget
· Provide technical guidance and liaise with technical teams to ensure requirements are met per acceptance criteria, definition of done, and definition of ready
· Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Project Estimation, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
· Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success and manage expectations
· Ensure adherence to quality standards and drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes
· Communicate project progress and status updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience (7+ years in Project Management or IT in lieu of degree)
· 4+ years of IT and/or business experience with hands-on experience managing agile IT projects
· Experience managing software development projects using Agile methodologies
· Experience in a leadership role such as Team Lead, Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Product Owner
· In-depth knowledge of Agile practices and tools including sprint planning, acceptance criteria definition, and user story mapping
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders
· Ability to work with cross-functional teams including UX designers, developers, testers, QA analysts, and business analysts
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
