P&C Techno Functional Business Analyst

Location : Iselin, NJ

Duration : 6+ Months

Onsite from Day 1 (3 Days / Week)

Experience: 8-12 years overall with 7+ years of experience in P&C Insurance.

Role Summary

We are looking for an Offshore P&C Techno‑Functional Business Analyst with strong Property & Casualty insurance domain expertise and experience working closely with onshore stakeholders and delivery teams. The role focuses on requirement analysis, functional design, system configuration support, and testing across P&C insurance platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with onshore business and product teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Support P&C processes including Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, and Underwriting
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams during design and development phases
• Support configuration and enhancements on P&C core platforms, Guidewire etc.
• Assist with data mapping, integrations, and interface validations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint delivery
• Execute and support UAT, defect analysis, and regression testing
• Maintain documentation and provide post‑release support

Required Skills & Experience

Domain & Functional

• 7+ years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance for US Insurance carriers.
• Good understanding of policy lifecycle, claims processing, and billing workflows
• Experience supporting large-scale P&C transformation or enhancement programs

Technical

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter) or Duck Creek
• Basic understanding of integrations, APIs, and data flows
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis
• Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
