1. Global Ecosystem Strategy and Partner Management
Research global open source foundations and technical communities, map out a seekdb-specific ecosystem landscape, and lead engagement with core contributors, technology leaders, foundations, and enterprise ecosystem partners worldwide. Establish and maintain long-term, stable partnerships, while driving the full lifecycle of collaboration-from negotiation to implementation and relationship deepening-to continuously expand seekdb's product influence and industry penetration.
2. Enterprise User Growth and Full Lifecycle Enablement
Take primary responsibility for enterprise user expansion in key regions such as North America. Identify industry needs and promote deep integration of seekdb with enterprise business scenarios. Track enterprise users throughout the full lifecycle of seekdb adoption, coordinating internal teams to resolve issues related to deployment, application, and optimization. Ensure excellent user experience, improve retention and reputation, and build benchmark enterprise cases.
3. Community Events and Content Ecosystem Development
Plan and execute diverse global community activities, including meetups, technical salons, hackathons, and industry summits, leveraging benchmark users and case partners to expand influence. In parallel, build a high-quality content ecosystem by leading the creation of technical blogs, industry white papers, and AI use-case studies. Strengthen seekdb's technical moat and industry impact in AI application scenarios, attracting more developers and enterprises.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration and Ecosystem Building
Work closely with OceanBase international business teams on content co-creation, event execution, and technical branding. Establish standardized community partner management and enablement systems to support partners in technical services, solution integration, and secondary development. Build key metrics tracking mechanisms to monitor partner growth, community activity, and case implementation effectiveness, and regularly produce ecosystem review reports to continuously refine open source and commercial ecosystem strategies.
Job Requirement
1. Experience: 3+ years of experience in user growth, open source community ecosystem development, developer relations (DevRel), or business development in databases, AI, or cloud-native domains. Experience in building global open source project ecosystems or operating enterprise database ecosystems is a strong plus. Ability to independently lead the full process from partner discovery to post-collaboration review.
2. Industry & Technical Acumen: Deep understanding and insight into AI-driven industries; familiarity with the business logic and core needs of at least one or two verticals such as internet, new energy, or foundational software. Strong sensitivity to trends in AI-database integration and cloud-native data services, with the ability to identify ecosystem opportunities.
3. Comprehensive Skills: Excellent cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and resource integration capabilities; strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with R&D, product, and marketing teams. Strong alignment with open source values, a user-success mindset, resilience under pressure, and strong goal orientation. Willingness to travel 40%-50% domestically and internationally (including open source conferences and partner visits).
4. Language: Fluent in spoken and written English, able to use it as a working language to engage seamlessly with international communities, partners, and cross-regional teams.
5. Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in the US, Japan, or APAC regions, with deep understanding of local tech ecosystems, developer cultures, and enterprise decision-making processes.
Established networks in US or Japanese tech circles (AI startups, technical communities, alumni networks, etc.), enabling rapid access to high-value partners and users.
Proven contributions to open source projects (PRs), core contributor history in technical communities, or speaking experience at international conferences, with existing developer influence.
Proficiency in Japanese or another second language, or experience expanding open source communities in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, Latin America, or Europe, with familiarity with local ecosystem cultures and business practices.
