AEM Lead/ Adobe Experience Manager Lead

Overview

The client is seeking an AEM Solutions Engineer Lead responsible for leading AEM development activities supporting the client''''s digital platforms and web experiences.

Scope of Services

• Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, jobs, and integrations while ensuring stability and performance across environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dispatcher configuration, caching, and overall system performance.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, including Cloud Manager operations, automated builds, deployments, and testing.
• Work closely with Architects and Product Owners to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Follow coding standards, development best practices, and security guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and guide AEM development practices.
• Integrate AEM with third-party systems such as CRM, DAM, analytics tools, and custom APIs.
• Monitor application health and implement observability and diagnostics.
• Stay current with AEM features, cloud services, and Adobe Experience Cloud advancements.

Mandatory Skills / Experience

• 8+ years of AEM development experience with strong hands-on experience in AEM Sites, Assets, Sling Jobs, and workflows.
• 3+ years of custom application development experience outside of AEM or Adobe Cloud.
• Relevant AEM certifications such as:
• Adobe Experience Manager Sites Architect
• Adobe Experience Manager Sites Lead
• Adobe Experience Manager DevOps
• Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer
• Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and promoting DevOps, Cloud, and Agile best practices.
• Experience collaborating with business teams to define requirements, identify risks, and develop maintainable AEM solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting AEM components, integrations, and web applications.
• Expertise in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of Dispatcher configuration, caching techniques, and performance tuning.
• Experience deploying websites to AEM Cloud Service and on-premises AEM environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Maven, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience resolving production issues in AEM environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and team collaboration tools.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Adobe Target experience is a plus.
• Experience integrating Adobe Analytics with AEM.
• Experience with Akamai CDN for websites.
• Experience with language translation tools such as Smartling or TransPerfect.
• Experience with search technologies such as Coveo or Solr.
