Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP IMWM Principal Consultant to support SAP implementation, migration, business process transformation, and ongoing business support initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify process gaps, design SAP solutions, and lead implementation activities.

The consultant will play a key role in aligning site-level business processes with global SAP templates and standards while supporting change management, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
• Analyze current business processes and identify gaps between existing operations and the global SAP template.
• Recommend process improvements and SAP solutions to address identified gaps.
• Support SAP implementation and site migration activities.
• Assist with adoption of global business processes and identify required business process changes.
• Lead or support the design and implementation of SAP system changes.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to develop effective SAP solutions.
• Participate in configuration, integration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and training materials.
• Support organizational change management activities and end-user adoption.
• Coordinate and execute testing activities, including unit, integration, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Lead business customer activities throughout implementation and support phases.
• Provide guidance and subject-matter expertise to business users and project teams.
• Support cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Analyze production issues, determine root causes, and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to other consultants and team members.
• Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices, enterprise standards, and established governance processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IMWM and related warehouse/inventory management processes.
• Experience working on SAP implementation, migration, rollout, or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of warehouse, inventory, material movement, and related business processes.
• Experience working with global SAP templates and identifying gaps with local/site business processes.
• Strong business process analysis and solution design experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.
• Experience leading SAP design and implementation activities.
• Strong experience with SAP testing, defect management, and deployment activities.
• Experience developing functional documentation and end-user training materials.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business, functional, and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting production environments and post-go-live activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale SAP transformation or global template rollout programs.
• Experience working with distributed/global teams.
• Experience in regulated or highly controlled business environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise applications.
• SAP certification is a plus.
