Role Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineer with extensive experience in IP networking fundamentals and the application of IP protocols. This role involves working with major internet routing protocols and router platforms to ensure robust network performance and analysis.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of industry experience is required.
Technical Skills:- In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router platforms, specifically with Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx platforms, including all compatible supervisory and line cards for these platforms.
- Experience with protocols and technologies such as DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3, OC48), 802.2/3, 802.1d VLANs/STP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, netflow, DNS, and HTTP.
- Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $67.00/hour and $77.00/hour. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
