Summary

Clinical Dietitian

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Dietitian who recognizes the vital impact of nutrition on healing and patient recovery. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will design nutritional strategies that promote healing, boost overall health, and empower individuals to reclaim their independence. In this role, you will also help craft diverse menus that respect and honor individual tastes and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nutritional Assessments: Complete personalized nutrition evaluations for all clients upon admission, quarterly, annually, and by request from case managers. Ensure all findings are accurately and promptly logged in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Dietary Planning: Design therapeutic diet plans and clinical nutrition strategies tailored to each client\'s specific diagnosis, recovery milestones, and evolving medical needs.
  • Client & Family Counseling: Deliver one-on-one nutritional guidance to clients and their families regarding therapeutic or modified diets.
  • Educational Programming: Create nutrition education materials and initiatives centered on recovery, self-sufficiency, and long-term wellness.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the nursing team to track weight trends and proactively implement dietary interventions when necessary.
  • Compliance & Safety: Partner with the compliance team to refine processes and uphold the highest sanitation and food safety standards. Maintain a strong understanding of active State and Federal regulations to ensure continuous dietary compliance.

Education and Certifications

  • Licensure: Active Registered Dietitian credential and current licensure in the State of Nebraska (or eligibility to secure licensure before your start date). [Required]
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry. [Required]
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard office applications (Excel, Outlook) and the ability to easily adapt to specialized tools, including our nutrition management software.
