Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finastra Summit Developer with a strong background in capital markets, treasury, and risk systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, customization, and support of Finastra Summit (formerly Misys Summit) platform, ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Finastra Summit applications for treasury and capital markets operations
• Customize and enhance Summit modules such as:
• Front Office (trading, deal capture)
• Middle Office (risk, P&L, exposure)
• Back Office (settlements, accounting)
• Develop and maintain interfaces and integrations with external systems (market data, trading platforms, accounting systems)
• Work on Summit scripting, batch processing, and workflows
• Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and production support
• Collaborate with business users (traders, risk teams, operations) to gather and implement requirements
• Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting compliance
• Support system upgrades, releases, and enhancements
• Participate in UAT, QA, and production deployments

 Required Skills & Tools

 Core Finastra Summit Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Finastra Summit (Misys Summit)
• Expertise in Summit FT (Financial Toolkit) and scripting
• Experience with Summit APIs and integration frameworks
• Strong understanding of Summit data model and architecture

 Programming & Technical Skills

• Strong experience in:
• C++ (mandatory for Summit customization)
• SQL (Oracle / Sybase / SQL Server)
• Shell scripting / Python (nice to have)
• Experience with batch jobs, automation, and scheduling tools

Data & Integration

• Experience integrating Summit with:
• Market data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters)
• Trading platforms
• Risk and accounting systems
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines

Financial Domain (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of:
• Capital Markets / Treasury systems
• Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, Money Markets
• Risk management (VaR, P&L, exposure)
• Trade lifecycle and settlement processes
