Your New Role

• Attend bid meetings, site walkthroughs, and pre-bid conferences

• Review RFPs, electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and schematics

• Prepare accurate electrical estimates for small to medium-sized commercial and residential projects

• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs

• Develop estimates using historical cost data and estimating software

• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals to ensure competitive pricing

• Prepare and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle

• Maintain accurate estimating documentation and project records

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the bidding and preconstruction process

• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes while ensuring compliance with NEC and applicable local building codes

• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical estimating and electrical construction

• Proven experience in preparing accurate project estimates

• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes

• Proficiency with electrical estimating software

• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required

• Valid driver\'s license with a good motor vehicle record

• Authorized to work in the United States
