Location: Pentagon (3 days on-site)

LTC/CTH/Direct Hire: 6m or 3m CTH

Length/status of contract: 5 years - June 2030

Daily responsibilities:
  • Someone who is a go-getter, can pickup systems, their dashboard BI tool integrates with a lot of other budget systems - the understanding of how systems work in general, being able to work with team members across the contract to understand how data flows within the tool to build out those dashboards is the level of experience that would help them understand how to function - data connection points, environments they are working within, general expectations for buildout process for dashboards
  • All the BSA's should be able to buildout dashboards, but also have developers who are more focused on complex buildouts
  • Implement something, test it according to requirements, etc.
  • Put out a release, push it out to the environment, make sure it is working properly in that environment
  • Lots of customer involvement, directly working with customer, interpreting needs
  • When they are onsite, there is a lot of hands-on support with both customer & end user side
  • Need great communication skills, be able to comminute between teams and be a liaison, mitigate issues
  • Onsite their primary job is to provide support & track down data for folks who are there onsite for analysis & troubleshooting if numbers don't look right, figure out where things are disconnected - be able to compare data across systems, will get training on how the budget systems work
  • When it is slower, they have access to a remote desktop instance where they can work with the development & scrum team
  • Emphasize a bit more of the QA part of this role - working directly with the government client, talking to them on a daily basis

Required:
  • Current DoD Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive SLDC experience
  • Software development functional support experience
  • Experience supporting DoD financial systems
  • Experience with Business Intelligence visualization tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis, and visualizations
  • Experience with quality assurance techniques
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving data issues
  • Experience directly interfacing with senior government staff
  • Experience with release testing
