Overview:We are seeking a
Functional Business Analyst with
strong ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM experience to clean up, refine, and manage existing backlogs while supporting ongoing ServiceNow enhancements. This is a functional role focused on requirements, backlog clarity, and stakeholder alignment (no development).
Responsibilities- Clean up and rationalize large ServiceNow backlogs
- Review, rewrite, and standardize user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with IT, HR, Security, Facilities, and Operations to gather functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyze current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") processes
- Facilitate backlog grooming, workshops, and design sessions
- Translate business needs into ServiceNow-ready documentation
- Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Track requirements through delivery
Required Experience (Hard Requirements)- Hands-on ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Discovery, and ITOM workflows
- Experience writing high-quality ServiceNow user stories and acceptance criteria
- Understanding of ServiceNow best practices and platform standards
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Preferred- Experience with ITBM/SPM, HRSD, or CSM
- Healthcare industry experience
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst or ServiceNow Analyst
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
