General Summary:

The Manager, Organizational Development - Change Management (IT) is responsible for leading the people side of change for complex, large-scale IT and digital transformation initiatives across Qualcomm. This role partners closely with IT leadership, program and product teams, and People Experience partners to design and execute change management strategies that drive adoption, build readiness, and embed sustainable new ways of working across OneIT. This role is based on-site in San Diego to support close collaboration with senior leaders, delivery teams, and enterprise stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Change Management & IT Transformation

Lead end-to-end change management strategies for large-scale IT initiatives including ERP, cloud, infrastructure modernization, AI / GenAI, Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and enterprise platforms.

Apply change methodology to assess change impact, organizational readiness, risk, and adoption across global stakeholder groups.

Develop and implement integrated change plans covering stakeholder engagement, communications, training, sponsorship, and reinforcement activities.

Partner with IT program, portfolio, and product teams to embed change management into delivery plans, milestones, and governance.
Organizational Development & Capability Building

Diagnose organizational, team, and role-level impacts resulting from IT change and recommend targeted OD interventions.

Support the design and evolution of IT operating models, ways of working, and role clarity.

Build internal change capability across OneIT through toolkits, templates, coaching, and change agent or champion networks.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Enablement

Coach and advise senior IT leaders and executive sponsors on their role in leading and reinforcing change.

Develop clear, audience-specific messaging that articulates the case for change, user impacts, and expectations.

Plan and execute aligned global, regional, and on-site communications in partnership with OneIT and corporate communications teams.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement

Define and track change success measures including readiness, adoption, engagement, and sustainability metrics.

Use data, feedback, and lessons learned to continuously improve change approaches and outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in organizational development, change management, or related disciplines.

Experience leading change management efforts for IT, digital, or technology-enabled transformations.

Demonstrated experience applying structured change management methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in complex, global IT or technology organizations.

Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, DevOps, cloud, ERP, or AI-driven transformations.

Change management certification (Prosci or equivalent).

Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior technical leaders.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of Organization Development, Human Resources, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 9+ years of Organization Development, Human Resources, or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 11+ years of Organization Development, Human Resources, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$120,400.00 - $180,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
