RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and support applications using modern and legacy .NET technologies. This is a more senior-level opportunity requiring strong hands-on development skills across C#, SQL Server, and .NET Framework/Core.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core
* Develop and maintain backend functionality using SQL Server
* Write complex SQL queries and work with relational databases to support application functionality
* Troubleshoot application issues and identify opportunities for performance and code improvements
* Collaborate with developers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions
* Contribute to technical design and development decisions within an established enterprise environment
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong professional experience with C#
* Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
* Strong SQL Server experience
* Solid understanding of backend application development and relational databases
* Demonstrated experience working at a senior software engineering level
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Oracle databases
* Experience with Node.js
* Banking or financial-services experience is helpful but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
