Role: Application Support Analyst
Rate: $28/hour W2
Location: Richmond, VA 23219
Schedule: Hybrid

We are seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide technical support for a portfolio of enterprise applications used across IT and Corporate Services. This individual will support both Windows and Linux environments, troubleshoot application issues, manage upgrades and interfaces, and participate in systems analysis, testing, and implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for business-critical applications across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Perform application systems analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Support batch data loads, application interfaces, and integrations.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain vendor applications in Windows and Linux environments.
• Conduct system design and business process analysis.
• Develop technical documentation, use cases, and system specifications.
• Execute unit, system, and integration testing.
• Monitor, track, and remediate application defects.
• Work across multiple projects and technologies simultaneously.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support application delivery and ongoing operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of application support, systems analysis, or related IT experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting firewall-protected applications.
• Experience supporting Windows/IIS servers and Linux environments.
• Experience supporting batch processing, data loads, and application interfaces.
• Experience installing and upgrading vendor software within Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with several of the following technologies:

• Experience working within a large-scale enterprise IT environment.
