Genesis10 is currently seeking a Remedy Developer-Remote for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Eagan, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Pay range: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour This role involves the design, development, and implementation of Remedy applications within a contact center environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, customize applications, and develop integrations with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs and scripts.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement Remedy applications within a contact center environment
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document requirements for new features and enhancements
- Customize Remedy applications using scripting, workflows, and UI policies to meet specific business needs
- Develop integrations between Remedy and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, scripts, and middleware
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet quality standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Remedy solutions, including design specs, workflows, and data models
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within the Remedy platform
- Stay current with Remedy updates, new features, and best practices
Requirements: - 5+ years of proven experience as a Remedy Developer with hands-on experience
- Extensive experience writing custom Remedy workflows (Active Links, Filters, Forms)
- Strong knowledge of Remedy development including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Web Services
- Must be able to understand, write, and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries
- Must have experience writing PL/SQL stored procedures and functions, and understand Explain Plan results
- Must have experience reading and understanding Remedy logs to troubleshoot production issues
- Experience with Remedy integrations using REST, SOAP, and other relevant methods
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies related to Remedy development
- Experience working with Linux and writing shell scripts
- Experience in Python scripting
- Experience with Oracle database
- Familiarity with Remedy upgrade process and the ability to handle post-upgrade issues
- Basic knowledge of database management and SQL for data queries
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desired skills: - Experience upgrading Remedy 20.x to Helix on-prem
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- AWS Experience, specifically with EC2 and Linux
- Helix Experience
- Experience with Tomcat Server Setups (reviewing logs, updating configuration files, upgrades)
- Experience with Remedy Server and Midtier upgrades
- Experience working with Remedy REST APIs (Jetty Server) and SOAP APIs (Midtiers)
- Experience reading, writing, and troubleshooting Shell, Java, and Perl scripts
- Understanding of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
