Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer to build a new enterprise application from the ground up. The role will focus on designing and implementing a configurable rule engine that enables users to define and manage custom business rules, while delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy a new ASP.NET MVC 5 application end to end.
- Architect and implement a rule engine for user-defined business rules.
- Build performant data access layers using C#, .NET Framework, and Entity Framework.
- Create responsive UI components leveraging Kendo UI, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and AJAX.
- Develop RESTful services and Web APIs with robust security and reliability.
- Optimize SQL Server objects including stored procedures and complex queries.
- Use Git for version control, branching, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support peers to meet delivery timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC 5.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and Entity Framework.
- Experience with Kendo UI controls and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and AJAX.
- Familiarity with RESTful services and Web APIs.
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Angular experience.
- Oracle Exadata experience.
- Python experience.
