AWS Data Engineer
Location- Beverly Hills, CA / 3-4 Days Hybrid
Job Type-Long Term
- Experience in coordinating work between onsite and offshore teams is mandatory
- 13 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or related field
- Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
- Ability to write robust, maintainable, and extendable code in Python/Pyspark, SQL and DBT
- Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular AWS, Redshift & AWS Glue
- Experience with technologies like Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hive, Terraform is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Databricks would be strongly preferred.
- Experience with agile development and test driven development
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Effective communication skills (with team members, the business, and in code)
