Role: Oracle EBS Functional SME- EDI
Location: Cleveland, Ohio (Onsite)

For this position having good Oracle Release Management experience is must along with EDI experience.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS R12 EDI and RLM (Release Management)
In‑depth knowledge of RLM demand schedules, releases, forecasts, and shipping schedules
Experience with Automotive / Manufacturing EDI transactions (830, 862, 856, 810, 850)
Strong understanding of EDI business flows between customers, suppliers, and plants
Experience integrating EDI/RLM with OM, Shipping, Inventory, WIP, and Purchasing
Knowledge of customer‑specific demand patterns, cumulative quantities, and horizons
Experience with EDI translators / middleware (Gentran, Sterling, Seeburger, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot EDI failures, data mismatches, and processing errors
Experience in UAT, cutover, go‑live, and production support for EDI/RLM
Strong understanding of end‑to‑end order fulfillment from RLM demand
Good SQL knowledge for data validation and root‑cause analysis
Experience supporting high‑volume, time‑critical EDI environments
Good to have skills:
Experience in Automotive OEM / Tier‑1 supplier environments
Exposure to 3PL, ASN, and carrier integrations
Experience with divestiture / carve‑out / spin‑off projects involving EDI separation
Knowledge of labeling, barcoding, and customer compliance requirements
Roles & Responsibilities
Act as Functional SME for EDI and RLM within Oracle EBS
Support RLM setup, demand processing, and release execution
Coordinate with customers, EDI teams, middleware, and operations
Troubleshoot EDI inbound/outbound failures and RLM demand issues
Support order creation, shipping, and fulfillment from EDI/RLM
Prepare functional specs, mapping support, and test scenarios
Support UAT, cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live stabilization
Ensure customer compliance and uninterrupted EDI operations
