Job Description:
This position is working with the development team of one of our airlines industry clients. We are looking for a technical business analyst that can generate business requirements as well as convert business requirements to technical requirements that can be handed over to the development teams. The resource should be comfortable playing many roles as they might be required to support the project manager and the scrum master, as needed. The candidate will serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Converting high level business requirements into technical requirements for developers
- Working with developers and architects to document message flows
- Documenting business rules
- Working with Enterprise Quality Assurance on testing requirements
- Working with the development and EQA teams to help resolve blockers
- Maintain a catalog of all customer notifications handled by our applications, along with timeline, business rules, events that trigger the messages
- Ensure requirements are properly document in AzureDevOps Boards
- Partner with stakeholder teams across business units
- Communicate effective with all team members and upper leadership, generate weekly updates on team progression
- Capture effect system analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
Qualifications:
- Technical Degree or related work experience
- Proven experience as technical analyst generating technical requirements
- Proven experience generating process documentation and reports
- Proven experience with Visio to document process flows
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Understanding of data and eventing, including capturing requirements
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Effective multi-tasking skills
- Experience working with Azure DevOps Boards, Agile
Preferred:
- Experience writing requirements for TIBCO applications, event driven applications
- Airline experience preferred, but not required
