Cyber Strategist to work in our
Fairfax, VA office.
ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team in building the next-generation Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Cyber data solution. The CDM Program is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) dynamic approach to strengthening the cybersecurity of Federal networks and systems through better awareness and visibility into their security posture and cyber threats. ECS is responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining a complete 'Data Services' solution which includes the collection, normalization, visualization, and sharing of cyber data from more than 100 Federal agencies. The CDM Data Services product is an integrated suite of multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, software configuration packages, and custom code which work together to operate as an integrated solution tailored to meet Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements.

Role & Responsibilities: The Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dashboard Program is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cyber security l eader to drive the vision for our Program Roadmap . The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Federal Government's cyber threat detection & analysis, incident response, hunt, and forensics teams, articulating and influencing our client toward a holistic future operating vision. This individual will work with customer s and internal stakeholders to identify gaps in our product portfolio, prioritize roadmap items, and articulate an enterprise program strategy. Th e Solution Manager will apply a systems-thinking approach to the client's operation, work across the client organization and support team to influence, plan, and drive change to existing services, processes, and technologies.
Specific Duties Include: - Land facilitate discussions across all levels of the organization to identify , design , and drive strategic advancement of our client's cyber capabilities and effectiveness
- Refine and communicate the Program Roadmap, with an eye toward long-term (2-5 year) and medium-term (1-2 year) priorities that align with our customer's vision
- Collaborate with other members of the Service Delivery organization to translate customer priorities into actionable work items to be developed by our Product teams
- Provide input into the development and modifications of technical and operational reference documents related to our client's cyber programs and capabilities
- Support the development of use cases, concept of operations (CONOPS), technical and functional requirements and specification documentation for our client's cyber programs
- Develop and maintain partnerships with other stakeholders in our client's mission space to help ECS deliver a consistent and comprehensive suite of solutions
Required Skills - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 11 years of professional experience
- Experience developing strategic, operational, and tactical project plans that are measurable and practical
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
- Experience building consensus and driving outcomes across various levels of the organization
- Deep knowledge of the federal cybersecurity landscape and/or CDM program
Desired Skills Senior experience supporting cyber mission programs and understanding the mission from the perspective of analyst supporting threat hunting and vulnerability assessment
- Experience with Software Development Product Management and 0-1 delivery of technical solutions
- Transformation of cyber and vulnerability data into greater insight and more effective action to manage and respond to incidents
- Building and nurturing external networks consisting of industry peers, ecosystem partners, vendors, and other relevant parties to address common trends, findings, incidents, and cybersecurity risks
- Applying systems-thinking to understand and drive holistic and sustainable change to the organization and its services
