Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves developing and delivering complex software requirements to meet business goals. The ideal candidate will code solutions, create unit tests, and ensure successful system integration while designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and systems. This position also includes mentoring and coordinating with on-site and offshore development team members.
Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
- Code solutions, unit tests, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system
- Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements
- Develop conceptual diagrams, process flows and technical architecture diagrams
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems
- Lead, mentor and coordinate on-site & offshore on project development
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience with .NET, Java, MuleSoft, Angular, Hadoop and SQL Server development skills
- SDLC experience using waterfall & agile methodologies
- Strong coding experience
- Production support experience in a complex environment
- Ability to triage problems and determine root cause
- Work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written) and the ability to direct global team members
- Experience with full project life cycle, requirement analysis, design, development, test and support
Desired skills: - .Net Core
- Angular, microservices
- Working knowledge in application design
- Able to identify risks and mitigation
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment
- Prior experience of working with globally distributed teams
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
