Summary

Android Developer

We are looking for an Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance, user-friendly applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, test, and release new features.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for Android applications.
Connect applications to backend services and third-party APIs (RESTful).
Identify bugs, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.
Work with UI/UX designers, analysts, and QA testers to ensure a seamless, pixel-perfect user interface.
Ensure app security, manage the app lifecycle, and release updates.

Required Skills:

Expert proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Strong understanding of Android Studio, Android SDK, and Android Jetpack libraries.
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and cloud messaging (Firebase).
Experience with Room Database or SQLite.
Proficiency in Git and GitHub.
Knowledge of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and UI testing (Espresso).
Knowledge of Material Design principles and responsive layout design.

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of MVVM or MVP architectural patterns.
Experience with Agile development, including Scrum or Kanban.
Strong team collaboration, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to new technologies.
