Job Summary:We welcome rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors to apply to be a summer intern at our Green Bay Office. Our interns are embedded into our teams and get the opportunity to work on real projects under the supervision and education of our experienced engineers.
Responsibilities:- Work with experienced engineers to develop skills and knowledge.
- Encouraged to solve engineering problems using their education.
- Lay out and assemble electrical control panels to meet project needs.
- Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plan, construction schedules, studies, permits, and designs for assigned projects.
- Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Familiarize themselves with state-of-the-art design and various state and local regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics
Skills:- Self-motivated with ability to collaborate with a team
- Accepts direction and supervision well
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- PLC or HMI programming experience a plus
- ACAD/Revit experience a plus
Location: Green Bay, WI
Travel: Possible periodic travel to client sites
