Google Cloud (Google Cloud Platform) Security & Governance Engineer

Location: Westminster, CO - Hybrid

Duration: 6+Months Contract

Overview:

Hiring a Senior Google Cloud Security & Governance Engineer to build and operationalize cloud governance, security controls, IAM, billing structures, and FinOps across a growing Google Cloud Platform environment. Must align Google Cloud Platform practices with existing multi-cloud governance standards.

Responsibilities:

Design Google Cloud Platform org, folder, and project structures

Implement IAM, org policies, guardrails, SSO/MFA

Build Terraform-based governance automation

Configure security monitoring, logging & alerting

Implement cost governance (budgets, labeling, reporting)

Standardize networking, logging, monitoring setups

Align Google Cloud Platform governance with AWS models

Requirements:

5+ years Google Cloud Platform (organization & platform level)

Strong IAM, org policies, billing management

3+ years cloud governance & security controls

3+ years Terraform

Experience with SSO/MFA & identity federation
