Helping support from an engineering perspective the Bravura Password Manager, the product behind changing the Wells Fargo employee password. We are one of that vendor s largest client and few people have experience supporting it outside the organization. Have been using it for 20 years. Doesn t need to be a software developer, though that does show a level of technical ability. Anything in Information Security or Credential Management is probably a good fit with experience. Also use CyberArk Password Management Vault. Sailpoint is another popular tech on the market but is very general so people may not have exactly done the relevant tasks. Most complex part of the system is User Off-Chains, the rules applied to people who log in and how they need to credential themselves based on their allowances.

Usually have team standups around 11:30 ET. Will be understanding the architectural needs of the system. Right now they are going through a database migration and figuring out capacity needed. Also upgrading the product and strategizing the effect on the integrations with the 13 other systems it plugs in with like databases, active directory, and mainframes.

Finance experience will help people integrate, will understand the amount of regulations to deal with and how that slows the process. Healthcare and dealing with HIPAA may be a good field to explore as an alternative.

Soft skills has been an issue in the past, needs to be able to take initiative and dive into troubleshooting.

Typical 5 day business schedule, 3 day hybrid with no assigned days. Not first line of support, but may be pulled into emergency issues with things they ve worked on. May be involved in changes to production that could come up after hours ad hoc. Would still be on a 40 hour schedule.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role provides technical engineering and operational support for the Automated Password Reset (APS) application, which is built on the Bravura Password Manager platform.

This position is not a software development role. The position focuses on platform stability, configuration, integration support, operational stability, risk reduction, and day-to-day operational health of APS, while software development responsibilities remain with dedicated software engineers.

The role is critical to maintaining system reliability, supporting audit and regulatory commitments, and reducing operational risk caused by single-resource dependencies within the APS platform.

Primary Responsibilities

* Provide technical operational support for the APS platform and Bravura Password Manager

* Support configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of APS integrations with enterprise credential systems (e.g., Active Directory, Oracle, mainframe platforms, non AD systems)

* Assist in incident response and root cause analysis for APS related production issues

* Support platform upgrades, vendor patches, and post upgrade stabilization activities

* Perform environment validation and health checks across DEV, QA, and PROD

* Support access, entitlement, and password-management workflows across integrated systems

* Collaborate with software engineers, IAM architects, and service owners to ensure smooth handoffs between development and operations

* Participate in Agile ceremonies as a platform SME (stand ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives)

* Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational readiness artifacts
