Description: Role Summary The Network Engineer will support the planning, implementation, management, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on network deployment, architecture design, security administration, performance assessments, and supporting data and voice communication technologies while ensuring reliable network operations.
Key Responsibilities - Plan, implement, and manage enterprise networks, including routers, switches, and related hardware/software.
- Design, document, and maintain network architecture and provide infrastructure optimization recommendations.
- Conduct network performance and capacity assessments to identify and resolve gaps.
- Establish and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, connectivity, and access controls.
- Test, tune, and optimize network systems and security devices for operational efficiency.
- Support enterprise data and voice communication technologies.
- Manage network services throughout the project lifecycle from planning through implementation.
Required Qualifications - 0-2 years of professional experience in network engineering, systems administration, or a related technical role.
- Foundational knowledge of routing protocols and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Experience with network hardware and software components, including routers and switches.
- Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Ability to manage network services through the full implementation lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent certifications/experience.
Preferred Qualifications - CCNA certification.
- CompTIA Network+ certification.
- Exposure to enterprise network architecture design and documentation.
- Experience supporting both data and voice communication environments.
