We are seeking an experienced
Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing engineering team. Reporting directly to the
Vice President of Engineering, this hands-on role is responsible for developing, implementing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes and equipment that drive quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver who thrives on improving production processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and supporting manufacturing operations through technical expertise and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Development & Continuous Improvement- Develop, implement, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes, systems, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, product quality, throughput, and cost performance.
- Document and standardize manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Evaluate production methods and recommend process improvements to maximize productivity and space utilization.
Manufacturing & Production Support- Provide day-to-day engineering support to production and maintenance teams.
- Analyze manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Support resolution of equipment failures and product specification deviations.
- Verify production parts meet quality and engineering specifications.
Quality & Problem Solving- Investigate process and quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Implement process controls and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance and product quality.
Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities- Work closely with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve company goals.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and manufacturing documentation.
- Handle confidential technical and manufacturing information in accordance with company policies.
- Demonstrate professionalism and build strong working relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Support a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline preferred).
Experience- Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience in metal fabrication, tube fabrication, welded assemblies, or related manufacturing environments preferred.
- Proven experience supporting production operations and implementing process improvements.
Technical Knowledge- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and production systems.
- Knowledge of process development, process optimization, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, tooling, quality systems, and process controls.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programs.
