Job Title: Oracle EBS Lead – Techno-Functional Architect (Production Support)
Length: 6m contract-good chance to extend

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Lead who brings strong techno-functional expertise along with architectural capabilities. This role requires deep knowledge of Oracle EBS modules, technical architecture, integrations, drives Production Support, Stability, and Continuous Improvement initiatives across a large-scale enterprise EBS landscape.
This role requires a strong blend of:
- Deep technical expertise
- Strong functional knowledge
- Architectural oversight capability
- Proven experience managing critical production environments
The candidate will serve as the primary escalation point, solution architect, and support lead ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and business continuity.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of Oracle EBS experience
- 5+ years in Production Support leadership role
- Strong techno-functional background
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments (multi-org / global footprint)
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
Experience handling critical business systems (24x7 support model
Key Responsibilities
EBS Production Support Leadership
- Drives Production Support, Stability, and Continuous Improvement initiatives Lead end-to-end architecture and design for Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Lead L2/L3 production support for Oracle EBS (R12 / R12.2)
- Act as major incident manager for P1/P2 issues
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
- Ensure SLA adherence and minimize downtime
- Coordinate with Infrastructure, DBA, Network, and Middleware teams
Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- PL/SQL, SQL, Performance tuning
- Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher)
- OAF (Oracle Application Framework)
- Workflow Builder
- Concurrent programs
- Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Reports (RICEW objects)
- Experience with Oracle APIs, Open Interfaces, and Web Services
- Deep knowledge of EBS architecture (R12.2)
- Strong experience in EBS cloning, patching, upgrades, and AD/TXK patching (R12.2)
- Integration experience using SOA, REST/SOAP, middleware platforms
Functional Expertise
Strong knowledge in one or more core EBS modules:
- Order Management (OM)
- Advanced Pricing
- Inventory & BOM
- Procurement (PO, iProcurement)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Cash Management
- Manufacturing modules (optional but preferred)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend best practices
- Lead CRP, SIT, UAT cycles
Support & Governance
- Lead production support and critical issue resolution
- Drive root cause analysis and performance optimization
- Ensure compliance, security, and audit controls
- Mentor junior developers and functional analysts
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing functional issues in production
- Data fixes and reconciliation support
- Business user interaction & requirement clarification
- Supporting month-end / quarter-end / year-end close cycles
Architecture & Governance
- Provide architectural oversight for customizations and enhancements
- Review technical designs before deployment to production
- Ensure best practices for performance, scalability, and security
- Drive automation and preventive monitoring solutions
- Risk identification and mitigation planning
- Support audits and compliance requirements
Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
- Optimize performance of high-volume programs and interfaces
- Improve monitoring and alert mechanisms
- Drive stability initiatives and technical debt reduction
