About the Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to architect, implement, and support their enterprise wireless and switching infrastructure across corporate, subsidiary, production, and warehouse environments. This role provides technical leadership, drives network modernization initiatives, and ensures high availability of mission-critical connectivity services.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage enterprise wireless and switching network infrastructure across corporate, production, and warehouse sites.
Administer and maintain business-critical wireless and switching environments and associated network services.
Provide Tier 3 support for complex wireless and switching issues, ensuring timely resolution of business-critical incidents.
Lead and execute medium to large-scale network projects, including planning, coordination, and delivery.
Drive technical innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the networking domain.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or related field, or 5+ years of experience engineering, deploying, and supporting enterprise network communication systems.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure with advanced troubleshooting skills in wireless and switched networking.
Proven experience designing and administering wireless and switching architectures.
Strong problem-solving, technical decision-making, and project management capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays for third-level support or system upgrades aligned to plant downtime windows.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with structured cabling design and management.
Experience with power management systems.
