GIS Technical Architect/Lead GIS Architect ESRI Platforms/Enterprise GIS Architect- Remote

We are seeking a highly experienced GIS IT Architect to lead the design, modernization, and integration of enterprise GIS platforms supporting utility operations. This role requires deep ESRI expertise, strong utilities domain knowledge, and hands-on experience with geocoding, reverse geocoding, and Utility Network migrations.

The ideal candidate is a senior technical leader who can architect scalable GIS solutions while guiding development teams and stakeholders through complex modernization initiatives.

• Architect, design, and support enterprise GIS solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcFM

• Lead Utility Network and Geometric Network migrations, including data model design and conversion

• Oversee ArcGIS Enterprise installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and security

• Design and publish geocoding and reverse geocoding services using ArcGIS Enterprise and REST APIs

• Develop and integrate GIS services with external systems such as WMS, OMS, and WMIS

• Build integrations using REST APIs, .NET, Python, and JavaScript

• Provide technical leadership across GIS developers, DBAs, and analysts

• Guide GIS DevOps, automation, and best practices using Agile methodologies

• Support mobile, web, and desktop GIS solutions for electric and utility operations

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise GIS architecture, preferably within utilities

• Expert knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcFM, Utility Network, ArcSDE

• Strong experience with geocoding and reverse geocoding implementations

• Proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript, and ArcGIS REST APIs

• Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server geodatabases

• Proven success leading GIS modernization and migration initiatives

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills
