Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Or related field
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Financials Developer with strong techno-functional experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environments. The ideal candidate will work directly with business users, troubleshoot production issues, enhance existing customizations, and support modernization initiatives across the PeopleSoft Financials platform.
Required Skills: Strong experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 (PUM 53 or higher) across GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Purchasing, Billing, Commitment Control, and other Financials modules.
Proven ability to bridge functional and technical requirements by working directly with users to document business requirements, prepare technical specifications, and deliver solutions.
Hands-on development experience with PeopleTools, Application Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, Fluid Pages, Queries, SQL, and Oracle Database.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day production support issues, interface failures, batch jobs, security issues, and financial transaction processing problems.
Develop, enhance, and support PeopleSoft customizations, reports, interfaces, conversions, and workflow solutions.
Support system upgrades, patching activities, testing, and deployment of PeopleSoft enhancements.
Experience with integrations between PeopleSoft Financials and third-party applications using web services, APIs, file-based interfaces, and middleware technologies.
Participate in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, system testing, UAT support, production cutover planning, and post-go-live support activities.
Assist with project management, financial system modernization initiatives, and implementation of new business requirements.
Provide ongoing production support for Phase II state agencies and support enterprise-wide PeopleSoft Financials operations.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills with experience working closely with finance users, business analysts, project managers, and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting State Government or Public Sector PeopleSoft Financials implementations.
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials upgrades and modernization projects.
Knowledge of Oracle databases, performance tuning, integrations, and reporting solutions.
Experience supporting testing, deployment, and production environments.
This role requires a strong techno-functional consultant who can work directly with users, troubleshoot complex issues, support modernization efforts, and continue development and enhancement of PeopleSoft Financials applications.
