Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 12+ years of experience to lead business analysis, requirements management, process improvement, and solution delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate complex business requirements.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, and requirement walkthroughs.

• Create BRD, FRD, Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.

• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, root-cause analysis, and process modeling.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, SMEs, Developers, QA, Architects, and Project Managers.

• Develop process flows, workflow diagrams, use cases, wireframes, and data flow diagrams.

• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

• Manage and prioritize requirements throughout the SDLC.

• Work with QA teams to develop test scenarios, test cases, and UAT plans.

• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.

• Perform data analysis using SQL and validate business data and reports.

• Identify opportunities for business process optimization and automation.

• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions.

• Prepare status reports, requirement documentation, presentations, and stakeholder communications.

• Support production implementation, release management, and post-production validation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst.

• Strong experience in Requirements Gathering & Analysis.

• Excellent knowledge of SDLC and software development methodologies.

• Strong Agile/Scrum and Waterfall experience.

• Experience creating BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.

• Strong UAT, test planning, and defect management experience.

• Experience with process modeling and workflow documentation.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and MS Office/Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Good understanding of SQL and database concepts.

• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
