Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance in a corporate environment. This role supports end users by installing and configuring desktop hardware, resolving application and connectivity issues, and managing support requests through a ticketing system. The ideal candidate has foundational IT knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and deploy PC desktops, laptops, and printers for end users.
Manage and resolve general application and technical issues through a ticketing system.
Troubleshoot desktop and laptop network connectivity issues.
Support Microsoft Office and other business applications by documenting and tracking incidents in the call-tracking database.
Maintain accurate software inventory records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
Prioritize assigned tasks with guidance and communicate recurring issues to team members.
Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service in a corporate environment.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or at least two (2) years of completed coursework toward a Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop or IT support.
Working knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and basic network technologies.
Experience imaging, configuring, and deploying desktop hardware to users.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems, multiple versions of Microsoft Office, web browsers, and standard business software.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while providing excellent customer support.
Prior experience working in a corporate environment.
