About the Role

In this role, you will provide advanced database engineering expertise to support large-scale enterprise data initiatives. You will work on complex, high-impact projects that require strategic thinking, deep technical knowledge, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders. This position focuses heavily on Informatica platform modernization, consolidation, and enterprise-scale infrastructure engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and consult on complex database engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact and large-scale planning requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve multifaceted, long-term database engineering challenges, including those involving unprecedented or intangible factors.
  • Design and deliver Informatica PowerCenter and Master Data Management (MDM) modernization pathways.
  • Execute the consolidation of multiple Informatica PowerCenter instances into a single Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) instance.
  • Provide infrastructure engineering support to enable enterprise-scale data integration and performance.
  • Collaborate strategically with client and business partners to ensure solutions align with technical, operational, and compliance requirements.
  • Apply a strong understanding of database engineering standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to meet defined deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Database Engineering or related disciplines, demonstrated through one or more of the following: professional work experience, consulting experience, education, training, or military experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience with Informatica products, including PowerCenter and MDM.
  • Prior experience serving in a technical lead or senior engineering role.
  • Experience with large-scale Informatica platform modernization and cloud migrations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex system consolidations and enterprise data integration initiatives.
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
