Overview
Work with a leading healthcare organization as a Business Analyst within the Enrollment and Account Installation team. This operational role focuses on ensuring seamless health plan enrollment operations by managing EDI file flows, gathering operational requirements, and interfacing directly with key stakeholders. This position offers a 12-month contract along with 3 weeks of structured training on enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily EDI file transactions and perform hands-on triage, error identification, and resolution for enrollment data.
Interface directly with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate data updates, and resolve enrollment issues.
Utilize healthcare database platforms (Facets) and file management tools (Edifecs) to track and remediate transaction errors.
Bridge the gap between operational workflows and business requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain high operational accuracy during peak seasonal open enrollment cycles.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience within the healthcare industry.
At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience working directly with EDI 834 enrollment transactions (triage, monitoring, and error fixing).
Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Full availability to work during the mandatory open enrollment blackout period (November through January) without planned PTO.
Ability to work standard Eastern Time core hours (9:00 AM 5:00 PM EST).
Preferred Qualifications
Prior working experience with the Facets platform (specifically FXI or OAS modules).
Hands-on user experience with the Edifecs application UI.
Direct background within Healthcare Enrollment and Account Installation operational units.
