Job Summary

The Kofax Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise document capture and automation solutions using Kofax platforms. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in document management systems, enterprise content management (ECM), and intelligent document processing technologies.

This role involves solution design, workflow automation, system integration, scripting, server configuration, and documentation to support scalable and efficient document processing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

Design and develop custom Kofax workflows and data extraction models using Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM).
Develop and implement enterprise-grade document capture and automation solutions.
Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.

Process Automation

Automate document capture, classification, data extraction, and routing for structured and unstructured documents.
Implement OCR/ICR, barcode recognition, image preprocessing, and machine learning-based classification techniques.

System Integration

Integrate Kofax solutions with enterprise systems such as ECM platforms, databases, and cloud applications.
Develop integrations using REST and SOAP web services.

Scripting & Development

Develop and maintain applications using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, WinForms, WCF, WPF, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
Write scripts using VBScript, JavaScript, SBL, and WinWrap Basic.
Apply Object-Oriented Design principles in solution development.

Configuration & Maintenance

Install, configure, and maintain Kofax servers and related components.
Apply service packs, patches, and performance tuning for application servers and client environments.

Documentation & Testing

Develop test plans and support system testing activities.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for deployed solutions.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in system analysis, design, and development of Document Management Systems, Records Management, and Enterprise Content Management solutions.
8+ years of experience with Kofax Capture 11, Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) 6, KCIC, KCNS, and/or Kofax (Tungsten) TotalAgility platforms.
Experience with IBM Content Management and OpenText/RightFax solutions.
Strong programming expertise in VB.NET, C#.NET, MVC, ASP.NET, .NET Core, WinForms, WCF, WPF, LINQ, and Entity Framework.
Experience working with backend relational database systems (RDBMS).
Strong scripting skills in VBScript, JavaScript, SBL, and WinWrap Basic.
Hands-on experience with OCR/ICR technologies, barcode recognition, image preprocessing, and machine learning-based document classification.
Experience automating document and data extraction processes.
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining application servers and client components.
