Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Platform Manager to lead the strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of a large-scale Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. This role is responsible for establishing Microsoft services as a governed enterprise platform, ensuring a balance between innovation, security, compliance, and operational sustainability.
The position collaborates cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Security, Innovation, and various business units to prevent uncontrolled platform growth while enabling collaboration, automation, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. This is an opportunity to shape enterprise-wide adoption of Microsoft technologies across multiple departments at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the governance and strategic direction of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform services
- Establish and enforce platform governance models, policies, and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure and scalable platform usage
- Enable digital transformation initiatives across multiple business units
- Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory requirements
- Manage platform lifecycle, including adoption, optimization, and sustainability
- Support enterprise collaboration, automation, and analytics capabilities
- Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and leadership teams
Required Skills
- Experience establishing platform governance models
- Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Microsoft Graph, and Power Platform administration
- Experience implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and retention policies
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Microsoft, or similar are preferred
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Microsoft 365 administration, platform governance, IT program management, or enterprise technology leadership, including:
- Managing Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and/or Power Platform
- Developing governance frameworks, policies, or standards for enterprise SaaS platforms
- Leading cross-functional technology initiatives
Preferred Experience
- Equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be considered in place of required experience
