for one of our esteemed clients.
Microsoft Dynamics GP Support Consultant (ERP/IT)
This role focuses on technical and functional support for the Microsoft Dynamics GP financial software. These professionals ensure that the finance and operations departments can use the system effectively.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Troubleshooting: Resolving issues related to GL (General Ledger), AP/AR, Payroll, and Inventory modules.
Database Management: Maintaining SQL Server databases, including backups, performance tuning, and writing stored procedures.
Reporting & BI: Building and fixing reports using tools like Power BI, SSRS, Crystal Reports, or Management Reporter.
System Upgrades: Assisting with patches, version upgrades, and third-party software integrations (ISVs).
End-User Training: Conducting "walk-up" or scheduled training sessions for finance and accounting teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Software: Expert knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Technical: Strong SQL Server skills and experience with ETL processes.
Education: Typically a degree in IT, Accounting, or Computer Science.
Certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in Dynamics GP is a major plus
