Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Graph Data Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD or Tysons Corner, VA .
*Hybrid Schedule - 3x a week on-site*
The team is looking for an experienced Graph Data Developer to join our team developing the next generation of graph-driven data solutions. Our products connect the people, places, and things enabling pattern detection, self-exploration, and machine learning applications. The right candidate thrives in a team-based environment focused on value and outcomes.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience with Scala, Python, or Java development (OOP and scripting)
- 3 or more years of experience performing data analysis tasks in big data, graph, business intelligence, or similar environments
- 2 or more years of experience in AWS
- Demonstrated strong skills in SQL
- Experience with large scale data processing engines (Spark, Presto, or equivalent)
- Naturally inquisitive and enjoys exploring data and business outcomes
- Knowledge of AI assisted coding, testing and debugging
Nice to Have
- 1 or more years of experience in Neo4j (big plus)
- Financial industry experience
- Experience in machine learning environments
Typical Job Activities
- Data analytics and processing in Spark
- Data profiling new data sources
- Design and support of graph architecture
- Identification of patterns in data
- Engage with upstream and downstream engineering partners in value pipeline improvements
