We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Application Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our application teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions on AWS and Google Cloud Platform. This role involves creating and reviewing application architectures, developing network architecture diagrams, and supporting the migration of legacy applications to modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application development teams to understand their requirements and provide architectural guidance.
- Design, create, and maintain cloud network architecture diagrams for various applications and services.
- Develop and review application architectures for both new cloud-native applications and existing legacy systems on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Provide technical leadership and support for the modernization of legacy applications to cloud-native architectures.
- Ensure all cloud solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with industry best practices for security, scalability, and resilience.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS as well as Google Cloud Platform.
- In-depth knowledge of core AWS services (e.g., VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS).
- Experience with designing and documenting network architectures.
- Hands-on experience with migrating legacy applications to the cloud.
- Expert in Terraform
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
