Job Overview: The Senior Business Systems Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Offshore Wind business unit by gathering and documenting requirements, performing as-is/to-be analysis, and conducting gap analysis. The role involves new system implementation projects and maintenance support for existing systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of modern computing technologies. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal business partners, IT personnel, and external service providers are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities: - Facilitate and lead requirements workshops for large and/or complex efforts.
- Analyze and document internal business systems, problems, processes, and needs.
- Define business requirements and test cases using structured methodologies.
- Lead documentation of business requirements, test cases, use cases, and design thinking exercises.
- Provide written and verbal updates on projects and solutions to IT and business management.
- Act as a consultant to internal business partners regarding technology and process solutions.
- Collaborate with teammates, IT groups, external service providers, and business partners to develop and implement viable technology solutions.
- Provide guidance on existing software systems and their future capabilities.
- Interface with internal business partners, IT groups, and external service providers to implement new systems, modify existing systems, and provide system maintenance support.
- Provide application and system support for multiple systems used by internal business partners.
- Support projects and troubleshooting efforts.
- Perform Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance control execution and evidence gathering.
Qualifications: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT, business/technology consulting, utility, oil and gas, or related industries.
- Experience in IT Product Model and Agile Methodology.
- Structured, methodical BSA skillset including software system requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, documentation, and testing.
- Capability and willingness to learn rapidly, ask questions, and retain information.
- Strong data analytics skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective communication skills-written, verbal, and presentation.
- Ability to work as part of a team, both leading and being led.
- Workshop and problem-solving facilitation with business unit client groups and IT teams.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. Minimum High School Diploma or GED/Equivalency required.
Nice to Have Skills: - Understanding of commodity/fuels systems (primarily natural gas).
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance requirements in an IT environment.

Pay Range: $57 - $61 W2
