Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workers' Compensation Analyst to assist in the administration of our workers' compensation injury claims process. You will play a key role in supporting injured employees through their recovery, ensuring accurate, and timely reporting for regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer workers' compensation claims from beginning to end.
  • Gather injured employee information and submit required documentation to insurance carriers and state agencies.
  • Review/approve medical bill payments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between injured employees, management, insurance providers, and medical professionals.
  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and Human Resources to facilitate safe and prompt return-to-work efforts.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date claim files in compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in claims reviews.
  • Ensure compliance material is posted throughout the Company.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience), preferred.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in workers' compensation claims management or administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of state workers' compensation laws (including monopolistic states), regulations, and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.

Desired Skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex claims.
  • Experience with Workers' Compensation claims software .

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

Working Conditions:

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
