OSITION OVERVIEW : NetSuite ERP Project Manager
POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
NTT DATA is seeking an experienced NetSuite ERP Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end NetSuite implementation engagements. The role focuses on successful project delivery, stakeholder alignment, implementation governance, and ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing NetSuite ERP implementations, solid understanding of financial and business processes, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of managing complex ERP programs across functional, technical, integration, data migration, testing, and deployment workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
· Own end-to-end delivery of NetSuite ERP implementation engagements, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
· Lead and coordinate requirements gathering, business process workshops, solution design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment activities in collaboration with business stakeholders and functional/technical leads.
· Establish and manage the overall implementation project plan, milestones, dependencies, critical path, and delivery commitments.
· Establish and manage project governance, including status reporting, RAID management, decision tracking, escalation paths, and executive steering committee updates.
· Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the implementation lifecycle.
· Coordinate cross-functional NetSuite teams, including Finance functional consultants, technical developers, integration specialists, data migration teams, testing teams, and business SMEs.
· Manage implementation across key NetSuite financial modules and business processes, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
· Lead planning and coordination for data migration, including extraction, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, mock conversions, and final cutover.
· Coordinate integration design and delivery between NetSuite and upstream/downstream applications, including third-party platforms and banking solutions.
· Own the overall testing strategy and execution plan, including unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and business sign-off.
· Drive cutover planning and go-live readiness, including cutover activities, deployment checklists, data validation, business readiness, and go/no-go criteria.
· Manage post-go-live stabilization and hypercare, ensuring timely resolution of defects and transition to the appropriate support/AMS organization.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, business leaders, and IT leadership throughout the implementation.
· Lead weekly project reviews, steering committee meetings, executive updates, and other project governance forums.
· Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business requirements, solution design, implementation scope, and delivery priorities.
· Partner with functional leads and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and adoption of NetSuite leading practices.
· Challenge unnecessary customizations and promote standard NetSuite functionality where it can effectively meet business requirements.
· Manage change requests and scope changes, including impact assessment, estimation, approval, and incorporation into the project plan.
· Support resource onboarding, workload balancing, performance management, and delivery coordination across onsite/offshore teams.
· Coordinate with NetSuite/Oracle and third-party vendors for product issues, integrations, implementation dependencies, and solution delivery.
· Ensure high-quality project and solution documentation, including requirements, design decisions, configuration documents, test artifacts, cutover plans, SOPs, and knowledge-transfer materials.
· Drive organizational change management and business readiness in coordination with client leadership, including training, communications, and user adoption activities.
· Ensure appropriate financial controls, security roles, approval workflows, and audit requirements are incorporated into the NetSuite solution.
· Proactively monitor project health and identify, escalate, and drive risks and issues to resolution.
Required Qualifications
· 8+ years of ERP implementation experience, with significant experience managing NetSuite ERP implementations.
· 8+ years Proven experience as a Project Manager/Program Manager leading end-to-end NetSuite implementations.
· 8+ years Experience managing projects through the complete implementation lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, design, configuration/build, data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
· 5+ years Strong understanding of NetSuite Financials and core business processes, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
· 5+ years Experience managing data migration, integrations, testing, defect management, and cutover activities for ERP implementations.
· 8+ years Strong experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, RAID, dependencies, and change requests.
· 8+ years Experience managing multiple functional and technical workstreams and coordinating onsite/offshore delivery teams.
· 5+ years Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes and the ability to effectively engage with Finance and Accounting stakeholders.
· 5+ years Strong team leadership and delivery management experience.
· 8+ years Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and presentation skills.
· 8+ years Demonstrated ability to manage challenging project situations, competing priorities, and executive escalations.
· 8+ years Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid ERP implementation methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
· NetSuite certifications, such as SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, or Administrator.
· Experience with NetSuite OneWorld and multi-subsidiary/multi-entity implementations.
· Experience with multi-country, multi-currency, and complex financial consolidation requirements.
· Experience transitioning NetSuite implementations into post-go-live support/AMS models.
· Exposure to SuiteCloud, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk/integrations, and NetSuite reporting/analytics.
· Experience managing implementations involving third-party integrations, banking interfaces, tax solutions, expense platforms, or data warehouses.
· PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
