Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle OCI Database & Middleware Administrator with expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database Administration, Oracle APEX, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle Enterprise Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise Oracle environments, performing database upgrades, implementing high availability solutions, automating infrastructure, and supporting mission-critical production systems.
This role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle technologies, cloud infrastructure, automation, disaster recovery, and database performance optimization while collaborating closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and application development teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience.
Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Strong expertise in:
Oracle Application Express (APEX) 18+
Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) 22+
Oracle WebLogic Server 14c (Fusion Middleware & WebLogic Suite)
Oracle Database 19c and Oracle Database 26ai
Oracle Container Database (CDB) and Pluggable Database (PDB)
Proven experience upgrading Oracle Database from 19c to 26ai.
Strong experience with:
Oracle Data Guard
RMAN Backup & Recovery
PDB Cloning
Database Patching using Fleet Maintenance
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 24ai
Oracle DBaaS in OCI
Strong Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting skills.
Experience with GitLab and Ansible automation.
Experience administering production WebLogic environments, including patching and maintenance.
Ability to provide after-hours and weekend support for maintenance windows and critical production issues.
