Position: SAP IS-U FICA Consultant
Location: Jackson, Michigan / Remote
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U FICA Consultant with 12+ years of expertise in Financial Contract Accounting, billing integration, configuration, and customer financial processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, application maintenance and support (AMS), incident management, and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:
12+ years of hands-on SAP IS-U FICA experience, including at least 2 end-to-end implementations and AMS support engagements.
Strong expertise in FICA configuration and design, including main/sub transactions, payment hierarchy, and clearing rules.
Experience with dunning, security deposits, installment plans, tax setup, returns, refunds, write-offs, open item management, and cash desk.
Hands-on experience with BRF+.
Knowledge of batch job scheduling, EMMA monitoring, and clarification cases.
Integration experience with SAP CRM, FI, Device Management, SD Billing, and Print Workbench.
Experience with payment plans (Budget Billing, AMB), reconciliation key transfer, and direct debit setup.
ABAP debugging experience is preferred.
Ability to analyze and resolve incidents across billing and FICA modules, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
Experience monitoring and optimizing background jobs and interface queues.
Ability to manage service requests, change tickets, and enhancement deployments.
Skilled in preparing functional specifications and business design documents.
Experience working in offshore-onsite delivery models and shift-based AMS support.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
