Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Scrum Master to lead one or more Scrum teams. This role involves coordinating Scrum ceremonies, managing team dependencies, and providing visibility into delivery progress. The Scrum Master will also support delivery management and oversight for key projects within the GFIIT portfolio, ensuring continuous improvement and team effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a servant leader to your teams and help resolve impediments.
- Coach the team to achieve sprint goals and timelines, ensuring adherence to the 'Definition of Ready' and 'Definition of Done'.
- Schedule, facilitate, and coach agile routines and ceremonies, including Sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and PI planning.
- In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums.
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to maintain high-quality user stories and prioritization.
- Monitor sprint execution, identify risks, blockers, and dependencies, and drive timely resolution.
- Enable the team to become high-performing through collaboration and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Provide executive and stakeholder reporting on delivery progress, risks, and release readiness.
- Leverage AI tools and delivery metrics to improve team effectiveness and productivity.
- Drive the understanding of the Treasury space and the supported applications.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting Agile delivery teams.
- Business analyst experience, with a focus on understanding business needs and analyzing solutions.
- Prior Capital Markets experience in driving technology projects.
Skills:- Knowledge of Capital Markets products in Fixed Income or Derivatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Experience with Quartz or other trading applications.
- Proficiency in Python or SQL scripting.
- Banking, Treasury, or Financial Services industry experience.
- Experience working within large-scale Agile Release Trains.
- Knowledge of release and change management tools.
- Familiarity with testing processes and quality governance frameworks.
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve delivery effectiveness.
