Senior Fullstack engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Individual Contributor) to help us build and scale our AI-driven health platform.

This is a pure hands-on role. You will spend the majority of your time building, writing production code, shipping features, and solving technical problems end-to-end. This role does not include people management responsibilities.

You will work across mobile, web, backend, and data systems, partnering closely with product and leadership to turn ideas into production-ready features.

You will own features end-to-end from design and implementation to deployment and iteration.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and data layers
• Develop mobile and web applications using React Native (Expo) and TypeScript
• Implement backend services and APIs using Node.js / Cloud Functions
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into user-facing features (recommendations, insights, automation)
• Work with Firestore, BigQuery, and event-driven systems (Pub/Sub)
• Collaborate with product to translate ambiguous requirements into working software
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Contribute to engineering best practices (code quality, testing, CI/CD)
• Support and mentor other engineers through collaboration and code reviews

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience in full-stack development (frontend + backend)
• Proficiency in:
• TypeScript / JavaScript
• React Native (or React)
• Node.js / backend APIs
• Experience building and shipping production-grade applications
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or similar)
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Auth, FCM)
• Experience with BigQuery or large-scale data systems
• Exposure to AI/ML or LLM integrations (Genkit, OpenAI, etc.)
• Experience with real-time or event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with health, wellness, or data-sensitive platforms
• Experience working in early-stage startups
